President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe must resolve their differences and bring about an end to their disagreements that are proving costly to the country and its people, UPFA Parliamentarian Duminda Dissanayake said today (13).
Speaking to journalists at a UPFA press briefing this morning, Dissanayake said that he agrees with Opposition Leader and Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa in this regard.
“As you know, my opinions on certain matters have been completely different to those of the Opposition Leader’s of late, but he recently said the President and the Prime Minister should solve their own problems without causing inconvenience to the public. I completely agree with him on this,” he said.
Wrongdoing is unacceptable regardless of the person doing it, he added.
