President to leave for India today

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is scheduled to leave for India today (28) on a two-day official visit, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.

The visit is on an invitation extended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The President will be accompanied by President’s Secretary P. B. Jayasundara, Foreign Ministry Secretary Ravinatha Aryasinha, Treasury Secretary S. R. Attygalle, presidential advisor Lalith Weerathunge and the President’s private secretary Sugeeshwara Bandara.
